Data Manager

Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Data Manager to join Etqan Global Academy (EGA) in Doha, Qatar.

Etqan Global Academy (EGA) is a newly established IB World School in Doha, Qatar, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to join our team, looking after the student data and systems that help our leaders, teachers and families make informed decisions.

The role:

• Run and maintain the school MIS (iSAMS), including annual set-up, student records and user access.
• Manage assessment data collection and produce PYP and MYP student reports.
• Analyse attainment, progress and attendance data, and present it clearly to leaders and teachers.
• Prepare accurate data returns for the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the IB and Nord Anglia Education.
• Keep student and staff data secure and compliant with Qatar data protection law and NAE policy.
• Improve data processes and the links between school systems.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

• A degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years' experience in a school data or MIS role.
• Hands-on MIS administration experience (iSAMS experience is desirable).
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar is a plus.
• High attention to detail and sound judgement with confidential data.
• The ability to explain data clearly to non-specialists.
• International school or IB experience (desirable).
