At Nord Anglia Education, we are committed to providing a world-class, safe and happy environment in which children and young people can thrive and learn. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every student is our highest priority, and we expect everyone who works with us to share this commitment.
As Principal, you will hold overall accountability for safeguarding at NAIS Dublin. This includes leading a culture of vigilance, overseeing safer recruitment, and ensuring that concerns and allegations are managed in line with NAE policy and local law.
This role involves regular, unsupervised work with children. Any offer of appointment will be conditional on satisfactory safer recruitment checks, including:
- criminal record checks from Ireland and from every country you have lived or worked in for three months or more in the last 10 years, plus your country of nationality (including an International Child Protection Certificate if you have lived or worked in the UK)
- a check against the UK list of individuals prohibited from managing or governing schools
- at least two references, including one from your current or most recent employer, which we will verify directly
- verification of your identity, right to work, qualifications and professional standing
- online searches as part of our due diligence
Safeguarding will form part of the interview process. Applications must be made using the NAE application form; a CV alone cannot be accepted.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified people of all backgrounds and are committed to an inclusive community where every student, family and colleague belongs.
