Position Summary / Job Goals:
Support The Village School’s After Class Enrichment (ACE) program by supervising, teaching, and mentoring students from early childhood through middle school. Create a safe, structured, and engaging environment that complements classroom learning.
Qualifications / Training:
- High school diploma or degree.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft 365 for rosters, email, and activity planning.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of actively supervising students and supporting activities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience / Knowledge:
- One or more years of experience working with children; experience with young children is preferred.
- Knowledge of student safety practices and procedures for maintaining a structured program.
- Ability to help plan activities, prepare classrooms, update rosters, and track supplies.

Reports to / Evaluated by:
Director of Before/After School Programs and Camps.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise students during after school activities, transitions, and vendor classes in accordance with campus health and safety standards.
- Lead or support activities and crafts, and collaborate with the ACE team on lesson plans.
- Prepare classrooms, maintain supplies, and assist with roster changes.
- Support vendor classes, student transitions, and carpool.
- Provide daily Lower and Middle School lunch support and assist with other division requests as needed.
- Support spring break and other one day camps hosted by the program.
- Communicate with parents, vendors, students, and school colleagues to support the program.
