Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst - Planning and Reporting:
Nord Anglia Education's London Headquarters are looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst - Planning and Reporting to work closely with the Group Head of FP&A and Senior FP&A Manager, you will support the delivery of the organisation's short- and long-term financial objectives through the provision of high-quality financial analysis, reporting and decision support to the Board and senior leadership team.
As a collaborative business partner, you will work across central, regional and local finance teams to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of reporting, forecasting and planning processes. This role is critical in ensuring stakeholders receive meaningful insights that drive effective strategic and operational decision making across the organisation.
The role:
• Support month-end reporting, management accounts, forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to drive business improvement.
• Deliver accurate KPI, revenue, P&L and cash flow reporting to support decision-making.
• Provide insightful analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders across the business.
• Partner with regional and functional teams to produce consistent, high-quality financial insights.
• Maintain and improve financial data quality through reconciliation and data cleansing activities.
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, cash flow analysis, capital expenditure reporting and strategic projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of FP&A activities.
• Support the development of reporting standards, templates and best-practice processes across the organisation.
• Help manage the annual planning cycle, including forecasts, budgets and business-as-usual reporting.

We're looking for:
- Degree educated, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business or another numerate discipline.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables. Knowledge of VBA/macros would be advantageous.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Curious and confident asking questions to understand business performance and financial results.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
- Relevant internship, placement year or work experience in finance is beneficial but not required.
- Interest in pursuing a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
