Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PYP Teacher to join our international school community from late december/january 2027.

The successful candidate will be committed to the IB philosophy and to creating an engaging, inclusive and inquiry-driven learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious, confident and active participants in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the IB PYP framework
  • Create an inclusive, student-centred classroom environment
  • Assess student progress and provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs
  • Promote the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
  • Collaborate in unit planning, curriculum development and transdisciplinary projects
  • Contribute actively to team meetings and professional development
  • Serve as a Homeroom Teacher
  • Support supervision duties, cover lessons and school activities as required
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and supportive school culture

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and recognised teaching qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school
  • IB PYP experience or training preferred
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centred learning
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills
  • Ability to support diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding

 

Salary range: €26.000 - €32.000 gross per year
